I’ve been teaching different subjects for more than 20 years. I’m a very inquisitive person and I like to share what I learn with others, especially if I think it could help them somehow. Teaching is my vocation.
In a regular lesson I start with a five minute warm up then fifty minutes of regular class including grammar and exercises and five minutes for reviewing and assigning homework.
I like using visual aids to help remembering better and the use of daily life activities to set natural scenarios where the student can experience what would be like to use what they learned in real life.
My classes have a relax atmosphere where the student feels free to express himself without fear of making mistakes. I’m friendly, patient and approachable.
I make sure I explain things in a way the student can relate to them. This makes it easier to remember new words or concepts.
Since I’ve learnt a new language myself, I can quickly relate to the issues and challenges learning a new language can pose to my students.
I’m quite a perfectionist with myself so I’m always trying to get better at what I do and I try to do my best in each class. Whether you are like me or not, I am your teacher. It’s key to understand that learning a language is a process with different stages, time and patient is required from both myself and you. I’ll adapt our lesson to you, your pace, your time, your skills.
