Ms.Khatrin Obrou

Hello! I’m Ms.Obrou,
a qualified Modern Languages teacher with a PGCE from the UK, specialising in French. I have a multicultural background and speak French, English, Swedish and Spanish, which allows me to create a welcoming and international learning environment.

My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive and adapted to each student’s needs. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, or simply looking to become more confident speaking French or Spanish, I will adapt the lesson content and pace to your goals.

I like to combine conversation, vocabulary, grammar, listening and cultural activities, rather than relying only on traditional textbook exercises. Lessons can include role plays, discussions, games, real-life situations, videos, music and cultural topics to make language learning more engaging and practical.

For younger learners, I use creative and structured activities to build confidence and encourage participation. For teenagers and adults, lessons can focus more specifically on conversation, academic support, exam preparation or developing communication skills for everyday and professional situations.

I also have experience using digital learning tools such as Quizlet, Kahoot, Canva, Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams to make lessons interactive and engaging.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and expressing themselvesMy goal is not only to help you learn a language, but to help you enjoy using it and become a confident communicator.
