I’m a trainer, coach and the founder of Tools for Tomorrow - a future-skills education initiative designed to help young people build confidence, self-awareness and employability skills as they prepare for life beyond education.
I have experience delivering workshops and coaching sessions to young people aged 14 to 25 across schools, youth organisations and early careers settings. My work focuses on the human skills that employers value but young people are rarely taught explicitly: confident communication, self-belief, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, resilience and personal identity. These skills are essential not just for getting a job, but for navigating uncertainty, change and early career pressure with confidence.
My teaching style is friendly, relatable and highly interactive. I don’t believe in long lectures or one-way teaching. Instead, I create psychologically safe, supportive spaces where young people feel comfortable speaking openly, asking questions and making mistakes without fear of judgement. Confidence doesn’t come from being told what to do - it comes from practising, reflecting and learning through experience.
Sessions are structured but flexible, combining practical exercises, discussion, reflection and coaching-style questioning. I adapt my approach to suit each individual, recognising that every young person has different strengths, challenges and goals. Whether a student feels unsure about their career direction, struggles to articulate their strengths, or lacks confidence speaking up, I meet them where they are and help them take small but meaningful steps forward.
As a Gen Z myself, I understand the pressures young people face today - from academic expectations to social comparison and uncertainty about the future of work. I bring empathy, honesty and encouragement into every session, while also challenging students to step outside their comfort zones and recognise their own potential.
My goal is always the same: to help young people feel more confident in who they are, clearer about what they offer, and better equipped to create opportunities for themselves in education, work and life.
