Hi, I'm Mina!

I'm a friendly, approachable English teacher with a deep passion for language and learning.

I believe in teaching in an informal, relaxed setting, mostly through conversation - because there's no point knowing all verb tenses if you don't know how to use them in real-life settings! My aim is for you to understand how English works, and to be confident to use it like a native speaker. I've been teaching English this way for more than five years now, both to adults and secondary-school children.

I'm bilingual in French and English, and I have a Master's degree in Linguistics and Language Acquisition from the University of Cambridge. I'm in a great place to understand and explain any mistakes you make clearly, so you can avoid making them in the future.

In my free time, I'm also learning Italian, so I understand the frustrations that can come with learning languages and the patience it takes.
