My lessons are structured and interactive. I believe that students learn best when they understand the logic behind the language and feel actively involved in the process. For this reason, each lesson follows a clear structure while remaining flexible enough to adapt to individual needs.

We usually begin with a short revision phase and address any questions. New content is then introduced. Grammar is explained clearly and in context, not as isolated rules but as practical tools for communication. This is followed by guided practice through speaking, writing, reading, or listening activities, depending on your goals. Each session ends with a short summary to ensure clarity and lasting understanding.

To support your progress, I provide self-crafted PDFs after every lesson that summarise key points, examples, and exercises. These personalised materials provide a structured resource for reviewing, practising independently, and tracking your improvement over time.

I am also available by email between lessons for questions, clarification, and extra support, helping my pupils stay motivated and on track.

My teaching combines systematic grammar development with active language use. Lessons can include conversation practice, vocabulary building, exam preparation, translation exercises, and structured writing tasks. I place particular emphasis on helping students gain confidence and independence in using German.

With years of experience as a translator and a deep interest in languages, I bring both accuracy and cultural insight to every session. My aim is to make learning German logical, enjoyable, and effective, giving my pupils the tools, confidence, and personalised materials to succeed at every stage of their journey.
