Having taught for 28 years and also been an examiner, I know what students need to do to pass examinations to a high level. I am an expert in essay technique and examination skills. I am also a respected oracy practioner, so am able to help students prepare for interviews for highly competitive universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.

I know that the best teachers and tutors do not try to be 'the sage on the stage, but rather to act as your 'guide on the side'. My sessions work best when you have prepared for the tutorial in advance and we can then explore the topic based on what you know already, before seeing how we can develop that knowledge and undersatnding, building on the best ways for your to ace the examination questions and pass that interview.
