So usually we will first chat about why you are looking for support as sometimes it is because you find French hard or you just don't like it and that makes it even harder, and it is alright because either way you still want to get good marks and so you have made the right decision!
Then we try to establish together which part is hardest and which is ok, so that I can use that to plan my lessons around whats best for you.
Each time we meet I ask you about what you did in class the week before, in case there was Anything you didnt understand and it is ok to say: "OMG I can't even remember what we did in class!" as every week is different and chances are I can help you remembering by topic etc and we get there.
Sometimes you get it sometimes you don't and there is nothing wrong with that, as that exactly what I am here for, to help you with the bits that do not stick!
And there is always this moment when you start noticing that the extra support actually makes a difference at tests and in class just because you are becoming more confident
That day I know we are In Business! and my job is done because in the end You get the marks out of Your work and determination and when I get the text in august with your exams mark, it is remains THE BEST DAY EVER!
