Dear Parents,

In my lessons, your child can expect a structured but flexible approach, fully tailored to their level, learning style, and goals. At the start, we identify what they already understand and which areas are most challenging, so that each lesson is focused and effective.

Lessons usually follow a clear format. We begin with a short review of previous material or any questions they may have, then move on to new content. I explain topics step by step, breaking down complex concepts into clear and manageable parts. I use worked examples, practice questions, and real scientific contexts to help your child understand not just what to learn, but why it works. Questions are encouraged throughout, and lessons progress at a pace suited to your child.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Bioscience and an MSc in Forensic Science, which allows me to support students from basic GCSE-level Chemistry and Biology through to more advanced A-Level and early university topics. I can also assist with exam preparation, coursework, data interpretation, and scientific report writing.

My aim is to help students build both confidence and understanding. I focus on clarity, patience, and encouragement, creating a supportive learning environment where your child feels comfortable making mistakes and improving. By the end of our sessions, they should feel more confident, independent, and in control of their learning.
