Tutor providing A-level chemistry and physics lessons

I am currently a second year student at the University of Manchester, studying for a Masters of Chemistry. I am enthusiastic to teach students, and provide all the help they require to achieve the top grades at A-levels.

I will be teaching chemistry and physics and I will primarily focus on helping the students to understand exactly what they are learning, to help them built a repertoire of knowledge and skills which can be applied across the whole subject.

My teaching style will focus on explanations, tailored to the students knowledge and ability, along with questions to consolidate. I find it very important to ask the student lots of questions while working through, as it requires them to cast back to what they already know, create links between topics, and help build transferrable skills. Most importantly, I encourage all questions and queries, ensuring no gaps are left uncovered.

Questions will be sent to the student to do in their spare time to both consolidate and to help me gauge the students current ability and what to focus on. All lessons will be productive, and a great value for money. Lessons will be delivered online, hope to see you soon!
