I am a First Class Economics graduate from the University of Leeds, now studying for a Master’s in Law to qualify as a solicitor. At college, I achieved an A* in Mathematics, an A* in Economics, an A* in Politics, and an A in English Literature. Since March 2023, I have delivered 1,400 plus hours of one-to-one tuition to more than 65 students and received 20 five-star reviews. I was the most recommended mathematics tutor on my previous platform, out of less than 2,000.
I keep lessons extremely simple and accessible, built around past paper questions. We start by securing the basics and reinforcing any gaps. As your confidence grows, we move into more demanding questions, vary the phrasing across boards, and link ideas when it helps. Every lesson is tailored to your target grade, and I will push you beyond it once you are ready.
Students tell me my explanations are clear and the first questions feel manageable, but the lessons are not easy. I hate the idea of students being bored. Once foundations are secure, I raise the level on purpose so you have to think, and I support you when you get stuck. This builds independent problem-solving and real exam confidence.
My proudest result is a student who joined me on a C and earned an A* in under a year. We focused on Applied, used targeted past paper practice, and the student adopted my revision tips. They moved to an A in the January mocks and then an A* in the final exams, going on to study Mechanical Engineering at a Russell Group university.
