Manuel Patino

I’m Manuel, a French teacher from Colombia with several years of experience teaching teenagers and adults in schools, language academies, and online. I hold a DALF C2 certificate and I am trained as a DELF/DALF examiner, so I can help you both with everyday communication and official exam preparation.

In my lessons, you will speak French from the very first class. I use a mix of conversation, guided practice, and clear explanations to help you feel more confident step by step. We work with interactive activities (role-plays, games, dialogues), as well as real-life materials such as songs, short videos, and articles so that you learn the language as it is really used.

Every student has different goals, so I create a personalized plan based on your level, needs, and interests (travel, work, studies, exams, or personal enrichment). I also give regular feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, and I can provide homework and extra resources if you wish.

I work with all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners who want to refine their fluency or prepare for specific goals such as job interviews, university exchanges, or life in a French-speaking country. Lessons are usually structured in three parts: a short warm-up, a clear focus on one skill or topic, and a final recap so you know exactly what you have learned. I use digital tools, shared documents, and interactive exercises to keep each class dynamic, organised, and motivating.
