I engage with students' unique learning styles to find out how best they like to learn and progress, i.e. whether they are a visual, kinetic, aural, reading/writing learner or a combination of many. After assessing learning style, I tailor my lessons for each student individually, working through the subject content they want to cover with case studies, practice questions and contemporary examples of the topic, e.g. via news articles or media. My lessons are typically 1 hour in length but can be longer if required. I am qualified to a doctorate level in Biology and have also completed a masters and undergraduate course (with honours). I can adapt my lessons for all ages and levels, including preparation for VCE-level qualifications, undergraduate studies as well as higher-level MSc and PhD courses.
