I am a primary school teacher who is able to teach from elementary to grade 3 learners from different backgrounds and learning abilities . I have 14 years teaching experience and have produced great results in my learners over the years. I use different methodologies or teaching styles to assist my learners to grasp the learning content, I like using pictures and concrete objects to demonstrate concepts . Writing on the board is also my demonstration tool, but with the current technological change cellphones and laptop are accepted as teaching aids.
In the primary school peer teaching is advisable and grouping learners according to their abilities.
I aim for focused and time on task teaching and learning, high level of achievements, remedial in case of learning challenges and corrections. Learners need to show knowledge and skills learned in each subject and be able to learn independently.
My aim is to simplify and make learning experiences interesting and meaningful to all learners so that they can be able to perform better and be cognitively developed and motivated to learn. We need to create independent and critical thinkers who are self motivated and see each learning experience as an upgrade to life and learning. Young children need a firm foundation in school and learning so that they may learn to prepare them for higher grades and pressure in the next grades or phases. Individual attention is also my concern, withdrawn and unmotivated learning spirit is my focus as well. High level of thinking is acknowledged.
