Kavita Kaur

Hi, I'm Kavita, a First Class Chemistry graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University (75%) and an incoming Master's student at University College London. I am passionate about helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine understanding of chemistry.

Chemistry can often feel overwhelming because many topics are interconnected. My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations and helping students understand the core concepts that link different areas of the subject together. Once students understand the "why" behind a topic, the content becomes far easier to remember and apply in exams.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels or university assessments. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, exam-style questions and memory techniques to make learning engaging, effective and enjoyable. Rather than relying solely on memorisation, I help students develop problem-solving skills and confidence so they can tackle unfamiliar questions independently.

Having recently completed my own degree, I understand the challenges students face and the revision strategies that genuinely work. I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is often where the best learning happens.

My goal is simple: to help students gain confidence, achieve their academic goals and leave each lesson with a stronger understanding of chemistry than when they arrived.
