Karyn Easton

I have 15 years of extensive experience teaching Photography and Art & Design. I have taught all the way from A Level right though to Foundation Degree. I have also worked successfully online over COVID to deliver high quality lessons.

I also have a lot of experience working with SEND students. Many of my students have gone on to the University of their choice and have also achieved fantastic grades.

As well as a teacher, I’m also a photography practitioner and I possess an MA in Fine Art Digital from Central Saint Martins. My work can be seen here:




However, teaching is my passion and I enjoy seeing my students go on to achieve their goals. I can tailor my lessons to suit all ages and abilities. I am also extremely comfortable working online. Although photography is my main subject, I have many years experience of teaching Art and Design including Fine art which adds an extra dimension to what I’m able to offer.

My teaching skills are also complimented by many years working industry as a designer and small business owner, so I also have real world experience that I can draw on. This add an extra layer of depth and insight to my lessons as I know how the creative industries work. If it is photography you require then rest assured that you will know your camera and its functions inside out. You will learn how to creatively push it to its limits. The same goes for art and design. You will be taught not only how to achieve results but to push your creativity to the next level.
