My lessons are structured, but they never feel rigid. The goal is to give you clarity without turning the session into a lecture you just sit through.

A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in: what you’ve been working on, what’s been confusing, and what you want to get out of the session. That shapes everything—we don’t follow a script if it doesn’t fit what you need that day.

From there, we usually move into three phases.

First, I explain and model. I introduce the concept in a clear, practical way—no unnecessary jargon—and walk through examples step by step so you can see how it actually works, not just what it looks like on paper.

Second, you get involved. You’ll try problems, ideas, or exercises yourself while I guide you. I won’t jump in too quickly—figuring things out is part of learning—but you won’t be left stuck either. The balance is deliberate.

Third, we lock it in. We summarise what you’ve learned, highlight any patterns or shortcuts, and connect it to what’s coming next. If useful, I’ll give you targeted practice to reinforce exactly what we covered—nothing random or overwhelming.

In terms of content, I focus on understanding first, then performance. That means you won’t just learn what to do, but why it works and how to adapt it in different situations—whether that’s exams, assignments, or real-world use.

As for experience, I’ve worked with students at different levels and learning styles, so I’m used to adjusting quickly. Some people want things broken down very slowly; others want to move fast and be challenged. Either way, I adapt—but I’ll also push you when it’s useful, because progress doesn’t come from staying comfortable.
