With extensive academic training in Spanish language, history, and culture, I provide a rigorous yet supportive learning environment that delivers confident, natural Spanish and a deep understanding of Spain and the Hispanic world.

In addition, for students interested in Mandarin Chinese, my teaching is informed by a strong academic focus on the Chinese-speaking world, with particular attention to Taiwan. I place emphasis on authentic Taiwanese Mandarin usage, cultural context, and real-world communication, while also introducing learners to broader Chinese linguistic and cultural variation. This allows students to develop not only technical language skills, but also a nuanced understanding of Chinese-speaking societies, especially Taiwan’s unique linguistic and cultural landscape
