I am an experienced secondary science teacher and tutor with over 20 years’ experience delivering high-quality teaching across KS3, GCSE and A-level.

Throughout my career, I have specialised in helping students consolidate core knowledge, address misconceptions, and develop the confidence needed to perform well under exam conditions. I have taught and supported students across a wide range of abilities, tailoring my teaching to individual needs through targeted explanation, structured practice, and clear, actionable feedback. My experience as an examiner for A-level, combined with extensive GCSE teaching across Combined and Separate Sciences, allows me to focus revision sessions on what truly matters for exam success.

I place a strong emphasis on creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. I am particularly skilled at breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, using retrieval practice, worked examples, and exam-style questioning to build both understanding and confidence.
