I first started studying Chemistry seriously in A-Levels. Unfortunately, I got a D in Chemistry. But I managed to get onto the foundation course for my bachelors at Sheffield Hallam University. It was through my studies that I gained a passion for Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
After a lot of hard work, I managed to complete my BSc with First Class Honours. Afterwards, I decided to pursue chemistry further, so I applied for a MSc(Res) with the University of Sheffield. It was here that I deepened and improved my knowledge of organic chemistry from before and learned new reactions and techniques. I managed to do well and come out with a Merit pass on my degree.
It is now here that I wish to become a tutor for young chemists, struggling with their studies as I once did. I want to help students so they can get better marks and grades than I did in GCSE and A-Level and pass with flying colours and not just get by. I hope with my help, I can get my students to a level that is better than I was.
