Hi,
I can work with learners of all ages and levels, and I specialise in supporting students with academic English. I teach online and aim to create a friendly, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where you feel comfortable and confident using English. In my lessons, I use a variety of materials, including my own presentations, as well as authentic British resources to make learning more natural and relevant. I also use modern online tools to keep lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable.

Having lived in the UK for more than 20 years, I have a strong understanding of both the language and British culture. As someone who has also learned a language myself, I understand the challenges students face, and I can support you in overcoming them step by step.
I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in both primary and secondary schools, providing one-to-one support to students, including those with English as an additional language. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate effectively with learners of different ages and abilities and to adapt my support to individual educational needs.

Alongside teaching, I currently work as an editor, reviewing university-level assignments such as essays, research and business reports, and case studies. This helps me support students in developing clear structure, accurate grammar, and appropriate academic style.
I also have experience working as a translator and interpreter. My qualifications include a Level 3 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from The TEFL Academy, a Master’s degree in Translation Studies from Cardiff University, and a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, all of which support my teaching practice.
