The content will be based entirely on the student's needs - first we'll do a needs analysis in order to identify areas to focus on. Students will be given an opportunity to identify their own needs. We'll draw up an agreed plan of action. Teaching material will be determined by the plan, and will come from a variety of sources, based on the individual student's learning style. We will use audiovisual material, reading material from real world sources in order to enable to use new language in a realistic context. The material will also reflect the interests and aspirations of the student, whether they are academic, professional or purely recreational.

We'll work in a friendly and relaxing environment, and keep things light and informal, without losing sight of the student's goals. We will continuously monitor the student's development, in order to measure progress and retain focus on the agreed goals. Regular homework tasks will be set, in order to give the student an appropriate opportunity to practise away from the teacher.
The student will be encouraged at all times to give feedback as to the effectiveness of the teaching and the materials used, including suggesting and contributing their own content or content of their own choosing.

I will be flexible about the time of sessions, appreciating the conflicting real world demands that students face in their lives. I can teach exam preparation if that's what you require.
