My teaching style is friendly, relaxed and collaborative. I want my lessons to feel different from a traditional classroom, where you are simply told what to learn and how to learn it. Instead, I want us to work together to find an approach that suits you as an individual.

Everyone learns differently, so I will take the time to understand what you find difficult and which methods help you learn best. Depending on your learning style, we might use diagrams, videos, active recall, flashcards, quizzes, exam questions or other resources to make lessons engaging and effective. I can also recommend useful websites, videos and revision resources that you can use independently outside of our sessions.

I believe that asking questions and making mistakes are a completely normal part of learning. I want you to feel comfortable telling me when you don’t understand something and confident enough to have a go without worrying about getting it wrong.

My aim is to teach you how to learn effectively, rather than simply giving you information. Together, we can develop realistic revision strategies that fit around your schoolwork, hobbies and other commitments, helping you work smarter rather than simply spending hours at your desk.

Most importantly, I want you to leave every lesson feeling more confident, motivated and capable than when you started.
