Polina Kvesko

As a qualified Science teacher with a BSc in Pharmaceutical Science, an MSc in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, and PGCE with QTS, I bring both strong subject knowledge and classroom experience to every lesson. I have taught students across a variety of educational settings, including primary, secondary and grammar schools, and have experience supporting learners with diverse needs, including SEN and EAL students.

My lessons are personalised to each student's individual needs, learning style and goals. Whether a student is looking to build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics or prepare for upcoming exams, I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where they can thrive.

Each lesson begins by identifying areas for improvement before breaking down complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable steps. I use a range of teaching strategies, including worked examples, retrieval practice, exam-style questions and regular knowledge checks to reinforce understanding and build confidence.

My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine understanding of Science.
