Advert description
Hi! Thank you for visiting my page! I’m a friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic tutor who wants to help students not only improve their grades, but learn how to study effectively and confidently.
I’ve recently completed my A Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Dance, achieving the grades to begin studying Dental Hygiene and Therapy in September. At GCSE, I achieved grade 8s in Science.
Throughout my education, I have always been extremely dedicated. I’ve spent countless hours revising, often studying late into the evening and putting a huge amount of time and effort into achieving the grades I wanted. However, one of the biggest things I’ve learnt is that spending more hours studying doesn’t necessarily mean you’re learning more. Over time, I discovered the revision techniques, resources and study habits that actually make a difference, allowing me to work much more efficiently.
This is something I’m passionate about sharing with other students. I want to help you learn how to make the most of your time, rather than feeling like you have to spend every evening sitting at a desk revising. Together, we can find the methods that work best for you, whether that’s active recall, exam questions, visual resources, videos, flashcards or something completely different.
I also want tutoring to feel collaborative rather than like another classroom. I’m not here simply to tell you what to do — I want us to work together, build your confidence and find an approach that suits you. I want you to feel completely comfortable asking questions, getting things wrong and telling me when something isn’t working.
I can also recommend the websites, videos, resources and revision techniques that I found most useful throughout my own GCSE and A Level journey, while helping you develop strategies that you can continue using independently outside of our lessons.
Alongside my academic studies, Dance has been a huge part of my life. Balancing Dance with demanding Science subjects taught me a great deal about discipline, time management, consistency and perseverance — skills that have been just as valuable academically as they have been in Dance.
Thank you for taking the time to read my description. I hope to work alongside you soon!
