I'm Gemma, an English teacher from England. I have an educational background in Art and Literature and I graduated from university with a first class BA (Honours) degree before completing my TEFL training in Asia.

I have 10+ years experience teaching English as a foreign and second language, to students of varying ages. I have worked as a Kindergarten homeroom teacher at a bilingual school as well as with young adults at fun and educational English camps across Asia and as an English Program teacher, focussed on writing and grammar accuracy. Alongside these, I gained experience as a phonics and literacy specialist for all levels and ages at an Australian based language institute.

I have worked as an online English teacher for multiple international learning platforms over the past decade with students aged 2-60+ years, in class sizes as well as small and large groups of up to 60 students in public schools. Additionally, I have taught story analysis and essay writing courses for advanced students, as well as developing and presenting custom syllabus, including for my own model communication coaching program.

I really love that, through teaching and coaching my students, they too have had a world of opportunity open up to them and be able to work and travel internationally, with not only the communication skills developed in our sessions but also the confidence they have gained.
