Biology was always my favourite subject in school, and it was all because I had a fantastic teacher. I hope that I can show you why it is such a fascinating subject to study, and help you feel more confident in your knowledge. I really believe that you learn so much better when you're interested and invested in a subject, so that will be the main focus of my teaching.

I am experienced in working with and teaching children and young people of various ages - one of my strongest assets is the ability to be able to tailor my lessons to your specific needs. I will provide an initial lesson where I will get to know you, how you learn, what areas of biology you'd like to focus on specifically etc. After that, I will tailor each lesson to what you would like to focus on that week - whether that be subject-specific content, exam prep, practical skills advice, presentation skills etc. My tutoring sessions are entirely student-led, meaning that I will base my lessons on the areas you would like to focus on! Particularly if you are preparing for exams, I will also make sure we cover plenty of past-paper questions to ensure you are feeling as prepared as possible!

I have flexible hours in the week, so with advance notice, I can also be available for multiple sessions a week when it gets closer to tests/prelims/exams. I am happy to travel to your home if you are a Glasgow resident (postcode dependent!), or we can have online sessions - whichever suits you best.
