I am a recent graduate with a fist class bachelor's cell biology degree and previous experience private tutoring for national 5 mathematics during my studies. My goal for these lessons is to create a positive, relaxed space where we can work together to improve your understanding and confidence with the subject. I plan on making every subject tailored to fit your needs and goals. A variety of teaching methods can be applied according to your preference and specific needs, including targeted practice, where we can work through past papers and exam questions, or use a more creative approach to aid understanding by using visual tools such as Google Jamboard, short youtube videos, and even short powerpoint presentations to break complex concepts into less scary and easier ones to grasp! As someone who struggled in the past with her exams and confidence in the subject, I found that close-up practice, and constantly working on my areas of improvement, as well as not being afraid to ask for help, pushed my confidence and allowed me to achieve As in my Highers, and a first class bachelor's in Cell Biology later on! Lesson length and availability can be discussed, and lessons are mainly for biology students and higher human biology pupils, but lower levels of biology could also be arranged. Lessons will be held online on a platform of your preference (eg. Microsoft Teams etc.).
