"I believe every student can succeed with the right explanation, the right pace, and a little patience. That belief is at the heart of how I teach.
My teaching experience spans a wide range: I've taught mathematics, reading, and science to primary school students (grades 1-5) and have since taught biology, mathematics, and agriculture at the secondary level. This range has taught me something important: great teaching isn't about repeating the same method for everyone; it's about meeting each student exactly where they are. A young learner building their first reading habits needs something completely different from a secondary student preparing for exams, and I've learned to adapt to both.
My approach is simple: break big, intimidating topics into small, manageable pieces, use real, relatable examples instead of abstract theory, and never make a student feel embarrassed for not understanding something the first time. I ask questions to check real understanding, not just correct answers, and I celebrate progress along the way, because confidence grows lesson by lesson.
I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree, and I bring that same discipline and curiosity into every session I teach. Outside of academics, I am known for being warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in helping people succeed. Students I take lessons with feel that my lessons are less like a lecture and more like a conversation, which is helpful for students who want to know more.
If you're looking for a patient, encouraging tutor who will meet you exactly where you are and help you move forward with confidence, I would love to work with you. Let's get started.
