Hi! I'm a friendly and dedicated tutor with over 10 years of experience helping young people succeed. I hold a 2:1 degree in History and have taught students from a variety of backgrounds and ability levels, both in classrooms and one-to-one. I’ve worked in formal settings (including teaching English abroad) as well as homeschooling my own children, so I understand how to adapt to different learning needs and confidence levels.

My lessons are always student-centred — I begin by identifying what the student already knows and where they feel unsure. From there, I create engaging, supportive lessons that break history down into understandable parts while also exploring the bigger picture. I love making history come alive through stories, timelines, discussions and key concepts. I cover content thoroughly and always make time for exam practice, source work, essay writing and revision planning if needed.

Whether you’re working towards GCSE, A-Level, or just want to feel more confident, I aim to help you enjoy learning, not just survive it! My goal is to build knowledge, confidence and real understanding — not just memorisation. I'm very patient and supportive, and I genuinely care about helping each student feel capable and inspired.
