Hello,
My teaching approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s preferred pace. My main priority is ensuring that students feel comfortable, supported, and free from pressure. I want every student to leave the session feeling happy and confident, knowing they’ve accomplished something—no matter how big or small that achievement may be.
I moved to France when I was five years old and grew up on a farm. As an only child, I spent my time fully embracing life in a different country and learning a new language. I attended a French primary school where I was the only English child, which meant I had to adapt independently and quickly. I moved back to England at the age of eleven.
Throughout my teenage years, I helped my French teachers during lessons with younger students. I absolutely loved the experience, and the students truly benefited from and appreciated my support. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to continue helping both children and adults on their language-learning journey.
As part of my university degree, I also spent a year studying in Lyon, France. This was an incredible and worthwhile experience, as it allowed me to study at a French university and further develop my understanding of more diverse and advanced French.
In conclusion, I would love to help shape your child’s future with French—whether that means supporting their school or university studies, or even just helping with a single lesson. I would be more than happy to help because I know what it's like.
