Math can seem extremely hard on the surface, but everyone is capable of doing it - it just needs to be taught right.
My former students have praised the way I teach by first trying to understand how intuition differs per person. This informs the way I teach - I like to use examples that students can easily relate to.

I have teaching experience @ University & A-level equivalent.
1) Teaching Assistant @ Utrecht University having co-taught Linear Algebra, Proofs and Calculus to classes of up to 50 students.
2) Assistant Teacher for Mathematics at prestigious tutoring institution (SSL), training high school students for the national Dutch VWO mathematics matriculation exam.
3) I have been teaching privately for many years.

As a student, I achieved the highest grade in my year's cohort for the mathematics bachelor thesis.

Next to this teaching hobby, I am pursuing an online Micro-masters in Data, Economics and Design of Policy from MITx. I founded Philoxenia, an international volunteer-based network committed to promote informal education. Herein, I directed project proposals with partnerships across 12 different countries with major universities, NGOs and businesses to lead intercultural exchanges of up to two weeks for up to 50 people. Other former professional roles include university teaching assistant, part-time student consultant at Kearney, exam coach and president of different student committees.

My passion for culture has led me to visit over forty countries with international living experience across Belgium, Netherlands, Singapore, Argentina, Portugal and Türkiye. In my free time, I compose music and occasionally perform in different concerts.
