Dr Belinda Stott

I am a retired academic who also worked supporting the welfare of university students. I have been tutoring since 2011 and have had unbelievable success and enjoyment from my new career. I enjoy the challenges of using my student-centred skills, experience and knowledge to foster success in students of all levels and abilities and from across the globe - especially China.

I use a variety of teaching methods and focus on each student as an individual by maximising their strengths and overcoming areas of less confidence/ competence.

I have a “smart” approach to learning meaning that lessons are tightly focused to marking criteria. Student strengths are maximised through personalised prior planning shaped holistically around the student as an individual.

By looking at the whole student and designing a personalised examination plan, students are fully confident when they walk into the examination room because they are armed with preplanned strategies.

From my career as an academic at a London university as well as my research interests, I have extensive and wide-ranging knowledge of feed-in topics that substantiate the challenges of the IB curriculum.

My prices are £45 for GCSE, £50 for post GCSE including IB first year, £55 IB final year.
