I am an experienced Organic Chemistry tutor with over six years of teaching experience. I have taught students at junior secondary, senior secondary, and A-Level levels. Over the years, I have helped many students who were scared of organic chemistry to understand it better and gain confidence.
I believe organic chemistry is not hard when it is explained step by step and in a simple way.
One of my main strengths is my strong understanding of organic chemistry basics such as bonding, functional groups, reaction types, reaction mechanisms, isomerism, and stereochemistry.
I explain topics slowly and clearly, making sure students understandbefore moving to the next concept. I am patient, friendly, and always ready to answer questions, no matter how simple they may sound.
My teaching method is very organized and easy to follow. Each lesson starts with a short revision of previous topics to refresh the student’s memory.
Then I introduce new concepts using simple examples and clear explanations. I focus more on understanding reactions and patterns instead of memorizing reactions. This helps students remember better and apply the knowledge in exams.
I use diagrams, reaction flow charts, and practice questions during lessons. Studentsare encouraged to ask questions and solve problems during the class. I also give exam-style questions and explain common mistakes students make.
The topics I teach include nomenclature, functional group reactions, reagents and conditions, organic synthesis, stereochemistry, and exam preparation.
My goal is to help students feel confident, improve their understanding, and achieve better results in organic chemistry
