My lessons are structured, interactive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I usually use clear PowerPoint presentations to explain key concepts step by step, supported by diagrams, examples and questions throughout the lesson. I have experience preparing science lessons based on UK curricula and different exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel and OCR, and I can adapt the content depending on the student’s course and level.

Rather than simply going through the material, I encourage students to participate, ask questions and explain concepts in their own words. I use worked examples and exam-style questions to help students apply what they have learned and become familiar with the style of questions they may face in their exams. I can also focus lessons on specific topics that students find difficult, revision, homework support or exam preparation.

With my academic background and PhD-level scientific experience, I can also bring practical and real-world examples into lessons, helping students understand how the science they learn connects to research and everyday applications. My aim is to make lessons clear, supportive and engaging while building both knowledge and confidence.
