We’ll begin our lessons with a needs analysis - I’ll ask you why you’re looking to improve your English, and what sort of topics you are interested in. We will also establish your level in the first meeting.

I will then create a tailored syllabus in order to achieve your learning goals. I will also take into account your interests, which ensures that each lesson is engaging and interesting for you.

In my opinion, the best way to learn a language is by using it - and this is best done by speaking. In my lessons I use techniques to encourage my students to talk and use phrases so that they can use English in an useful and functional way. There is also focus on grammar, but the main focus is using the language.

If you feel you need more focus on speaking, reading, writing or grammar, I can tailor my lessons to your needs as you see fit.

I have extensive experience working with adults online. I myself have a corporate background before becoming an English teacher, therefore I can find common ground with many of my business English students.

My interests include, business, literature, sports (primarily boxing and rugby). I have traveled extensively and am always keen to learn about new places and people.
