I have been teaching for 8 years in a range of subjects and specification boards. I specialise in Biology and Chemistry but I’ve been teaching English, Mathematics and Greek Classical Civilisation for 6 years as well. I have 5 years experience in teaching SEN individuals and I can adapt to your specific requirements.

Each session will focus on one topic from your specification board with a wide variety of learning methods. My lessons will always be tailored to your individual need.

I will talk you through a topic before asking some questions regarding it. I like to use an online whiteboard that can be updated in real time so I can see your working and track your progress. I create mind-maps, questionnaires, presentations and images of my own so they can always be what you need or ask for when working through a topic.

After each session I will ask you to take on some extra work on your own time, needing no more than 20 minutes, to ensure if there are any problems we can work through them together next time. These will be questionnaires created for you and your needs, where you can answer in any way you’d like.

I will also ask after a session how you are feeling and introduce check-ins to ensure you feel confident and capable in your learning.

I will always be open with you regarding your progress and change my approach if you require. These lessons are for you and your needs, just ask to change anything you dislike.
