My lessons are structured, clear and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin with a short diagnostic to identify gaps in understanding, misconceptions and areas where confidence is low. From this, I create a personalised learning plan that focuses on strengthening core knowledge while developing the exam-technique skills that make the biggest difference to grades.

Each session blends clear explanations, visual breakdowns of complex processes, guided practice and exam-style questions. I draw on my experience as a qualified science teacher and former KS5 Science Co-ordinator to ensure lessons are aligned with AQA, OCR and Edexcel requirements, and that students learn how to interpret command words, analyse data and structure high-mark answers effectively.

My teaching style is supportive and encouraging. I aim to make challenging topics feel manageable by breaking them into logical steps and showing students how to apply their knowledge with confidence. I give targeted feedback throughout the lesson so students understand not just what the correct answer is, but why it is correct and how to approach similar questions independently.
