I adopt a flexible approach to my lessons, which I am more than happy to structure in a way that you think will help you most!
My flexible approach is informed by my experience teaching undergraduate seminars, which requires me to constantly adjust my teaching style in order to ensure that all my students are engaged and getting as much out of the seminars as possible. Our sessions will be focussed on helping you reach your full potential, so feel free to ask questions and to request that we focus on any particular issues that you’re having with the course content.

If you would prefer that I simply go over topics with you, then I’m also more than happy to do that, and have a default lesson structure for this. That structure starts with giving you a basic overview of the given topic, ensuring that you understand the core concepts before I introduce you to the necessary detail that will enable you to achieve the highest grades in an answer to an essay or a problem question. In our sessions, I will be able to draw on my experience as a lecturer to gauge your understanding of the material so that I can get you to the level you need to be at for the grades you want to achieve.

When it comes to assessments, I am prepared to take you through exactly how to approach writing legal essays and answering problem question in order to achieve the top marks. I will do this by going through model answers with you and by teaching you how to present arguments clearly and properly, with reference to all the necessary legal sources.
