My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to each student’s individual goals. I begin by identifying the areas you find most challenging and then break complex legal concepts down into clear, manageable steps. Rather than simply memorising the law, we will explore real-life scenarios so you can understand why a legal principle exists and how it works in practice.

For A-Level and LLB students, lessons can include core legal concepts, case law, essay and paragraph structure, problem questions, legal research and exam preparation. I place particular emphasis on teaching you how to use cases and authorities effectively to support an argument rather than simply mentioning them.

Drawing on my LLB, LLM and practical legal experience, I also bring a courtroom perspective into lessons where appropriate. We can look at how legal arguments are constructed, challenged and presented in practice, helping you develop the ability to think and reason like a lawyer.

Lessons are friendly and conversational, so questions are always encouraged. My goal is not just to help you understand the topic in front of you, but to gradually develop your confidence, independent thinking and legal skills so that you become less reliant on a tutor over time.

I can also adapt the lessons around upcoming assignments, examinations or specific areas you want to strengthen. We can review your written work together, identify where marks may be lost, and work on making your analysis more precise and persuasive. You will always leave each lesson knowing what to improve and how.
