My lessons are structured, supportive, and fully tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I begin by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, then design lessons that focus on building both subject knowledge and exam skills in a clear, step-by-step way.

A typical lesson includes a short review of previous learning, guided teaching of new content, and focused practice on exam-style questions. I place strong emphasis on essay writing, source analysis, and developing critical thinking skills, especially for GCSE History. In Religious Education, I support students in understanding key beliefs, applying knowledge, and developing balanced, well-reasoned answers.

I have recent classroom experience teaching History and Religious Education at Raynes Park High School, and History at Southborough High School, where I delivered lessons on topics such as the Holocaust and modern European history. This has given me strong behaviour management skills, the ability to adapt to different learners, and experience teaching mixed-ability groups.

My approach is patient, engaging, and encouraging. I aim to make lessons interactive and accessible, helping students feel confident to ask questions and develop a genuine interest in the subject while steadily improving their exam performance
