I have 3 years experience teaching ‘hard-to-reach’ young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. I taught employability skills and L1 and L2 English on a 1-to-1 basis, but also to a class of 15 learners. My sessions are tailored to the hobbies and interests of my learners to make learning more fun and enjoyable. I provide verbal and written feedback and create individual learning plans which set goals and actions to make sure learners progress towards their desired outcomes.
