I am a visual learner; preferring charts and videos to understand concepts. However, I have learned over the years that students are all different so I use a combination of visual, auditory and written methods to present concepts. After a few sessions with my students we are usually able to determine the methods that work best for that student, allowing me to tweak my teaching style to better suit you.

I always start with a diagnostic session to help determine where you are in your learning. I will use this to assess areas where you are strong and may require practice in and weaker areas which we will focus more of our attention on. I have a flexible schedule and am usually available at your convenience. Occasionally however, it may be necessary to assign independent work to you that you would submit during our next session. This method allows us to maximize our time together.

I am a very hands-on tutor and continuously develop lesson plans that allow us to work side-by-side initially. Then, I gradually allow you to work more independently as you grasp concepts and become more confident with what you have learned.
