My lessons are calm, clear and built around the student. I have an MSc in Psychology and a background in coaching, one-to-one support, training and public speaking, so I’m used to taking complex ideas and explaining them in a way that feels easier to understand. A lot of my experience has involved helping people make sense of psychology, behaviour and wellbeing in both online and in-person settings.
I’d usually structure lessons by first breaking the topic down simply, then building understanding through examples, discussion, practice questions and revision techniques that actually help it stick. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, developing confidence and understanding why something matters, not just trying to memorise it word for word. My style is supportive, engaging and adaptable, and I always try to make learning feel less intimidating and more manageable.
I can support students with revision, essay structure, exam preparation and understanding key theories, studies and research methods. I also know that some students need a patient and encouraging approach before they can really engage with a subject, so I focus on creating a space where they feel comfortable and capable. My aim is to help students not only improve academically, but also feel more confident in their own ability to learn and succeed.
