My history lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s interests and learning style. I aim to make history not only accessible but also exciting, helping learners to connect past events to contemporary contexts and develop their own critical thinking skills. I adapt my approach depending on the age, experience, and goals of each student, whether they are preparing for exams, pursuing independent study, or simply exploring topics out of curiosity.

I structure my lessons to balance discussion, analysis, and practical exercises. I often use a combination of storytelling, source analysis, and visual materials to bring historical events to life, encouraging students to question, reflect, and engage deeply with the material. For younger learners or those new to history, I focus on clear explanations, structured guidance, and interactive activities to maintain engagement and build confidence. For more advanced students, I incorporate critical debates, research tasks, and essay-writing practice to strengthen analytical and evaluative skills.

My experience spans both academic and practical contexts. Completing a Master’s in Modern History required extensive independent research, archival work, and presenting complex ideas in an accessible way, while my journalism background has honed my ability to communicate clearly and adapt content for diverse audiences. I have also taught music, providing lessons to students of all ages, which has strengthened my ability to plan lessons, adjust teaching methods, and maintain engagement across differing abilities.

I also embrace digital platforms to enhance learning, using online resources, presentations, and interactive materials to support remote lessons. My goal is always to make learning history stimulating, meaningful, and enjoyable, fostering curiosity and confidence in every student I work with.
