Hello! I'm Arlene, a university professor from Venezuela. I have studies in Modern languages and Education. My certificates and experience at the university, have given me excellent skills to work with Spanish and English students. I can offer private classes in Spanish as a Foreign Language and also for Specific Purposes, according to students' interests and needs.
Over the last 15 years I've thaught Spanish and trained groups at foreign companies in my home town in Venezuela.
I work with the communicative approach that allows the learner "function" in the language he /she is studying. I'm committed to helping my students to communicate confidently in Spanish and enhance learners communicative competences in verbal and non verbal interactions.
This approach emphasises on real-life situations, so the students can understand how to communicate in the real world. Learners take active roles in their learning participating in abundant communicative activities in class.
Conversation and wrting ( also grammar if needed) are part of the objectives in my classes. Platforms like this, makes learning a new language a motivating and pleasant experience. Are you ready?
