My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I like to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as I believe this is an important part of learning.

Every lesson would start with a brief overview of what topic you are currently struggling with at the moment, and from then on I will present questions in increasing difficulty. Before we begin I would ask you to show me how you would tackle the question and guide me through your thought process, and what parts you find challenging. Afterwards, I would present the most efficient method tailored to you for this topic, and I would ask you to teach it back to me to understand any gaps in your knowledge or any misunderstanding. From there, we would work through a question together, and I would drop hints to help you understand the approach and solution.

I also adapt the pace and style of my lessons depending on the student. For example, if a topic is particularly difficult, I will break it down into smaller, easier-to-understand concepts and use real-world examples where appropriate. I used to struggle with difficult concepts, but once I broke it down I found it less overwhelming and more achievable. For students preparing for exams, I can also incorporate exam-style questions and focus on applying knowledge, improving technique, and identifying common mistakes.


Having experience with A-level Biology, Chemistry and Maths, as well as completing my CertHE in Pre-Medical and Health Studies, I understand how challenging these subjects can initially feel. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to make the learning process more enjoyable and help them develop the confidence to tackle difficult topics themselves.
