About me:
I am a Theoretical Physics student in University of Birmingham, finished my A-levels at King's College London Mathematics School and studied in Russia up until and including year 10. My knowledge covers a variety of topics from basics to first years of university and olympiad-type questions.
Teaching:
My method is based on getting to know my students and how they learn to provide explanations and guidance that suits them best. At the start, I would ask to provide initial topics of interest to have a material I can use to get to know you. Later, as I understand you better, I would add onto it some of my suggestions to the topics covered and develop a study plan which would benefit you best. At all stages of our work together you are encouraged to be honest and direct with me about any feedback you have in mind since it would make our time together more useful.
Note that my focus is practical understanding and skill, not the exam technique. I will use some exam questions as something to work on and will refer to the syllabus, but my goal is to make maths natural, not to put it in restrictions.
Lesson type:
Online, but in some cases I would be open for in-person sessions (bear in mind, however, that the price rate of those would be higher)
Availability:
Since I am still a full-time student, there are some restrictions to when I am available.
Weekends - any time of day
Weekdays - any time during holidays, evenings during term time and no slots during exam periods
