Hi, I’m Felix, and I currently study A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and French. I tutor Maths, Science, French and German for KS3 and GCSE students, and my lessons are focused on improving confidence, understanding and exam performance in a supportive environment.

I understand that many students can find subjects like Maths, Physics or languages stressful or frustrating at times, especially when topics begin to build on each other quickly. Because of this, I aim to make lessons relaxed, encouraging and easy to follow. I break difficult concepts down into smaller steps and explain them clearly, adapting my teaching style depending on how each student learns best. I believe that students make the most progress when they feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid to make mistakes.

My lessons are usually structured around a mixture of explanation, worked examples and exam-style practice questions. I also focus on revision techniques, problem-solving skills and helping students avoid common mistakes that often lose marks in exams. For languages, I work on vocabulary, grammar, speaking confidence and translation skills in a practical and engaging way.

Alongside my studies, I have experience mentoring younger students and working with primary school pupils, which has helped me become patient, approachable and organised. I achieved highly in GCSE Maths and Further Maths and have received multiple UKMT Maths Challenge Gold awards.

My goal is not only to help students achieve stronger grades, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners who genuinely understand what they are studying.
