I’m a qualified primary school teacher with six years of experience mainly in KS2. I know every child is different, so I don’t believe there’s one way to teach everyone. I take the time to find out what a child is confident with, what they find difficult and what they want to achieve, then plan lessons around that.

I like to keep my lessons relaxed, positive and engaging. Children learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and aren’t worried about getting things wrong. I explain things clearly, break learning down into manageable steps and adapt my teaching if something isn’t clicking. My aim is for every child to finish a lesson feeling more confident than when they started.

I can help with English, Maths, SATs preparation, homework or simply building confidence in learning. Having taught children with a wide range of abilities, I’m used to adapting lessons to suit each individual, whether they need extra support or more of a challenge.

As well as helping children make progress, I want them to enjoy learning. Seeing a child grow in confidence and realise they can do something they once found difficult is one of the best parts of teaching, and that’s what I aim for in every lesson.
