I’m a friendly, patient tutor who specialises in supporting primary school children with their learning. I understand that every child learns differently, which is why my tutoring sessions are calm, encouraging, and carefully tailored to each child’s individual needs, abilities, and learning style. My aim is always to create a positive and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

I have been working in the classroom for several years and have over 12 years’ experience working with children across a range of educational and support settings. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, classroom expectations, and the challenges many children face at school. I have supported pupils with varying levels of confidence and ability, helping them to strengthen their skills in Maths and English while building the foundations they need to progress successfully through primary school.

My approach focuses not only on academic improvement but also on confidence-building. I believe children learn best when they feel supported and understood, so I take time to explain concepts clearly, break learning into manageable steps, and celebrate progress along the way. I help children develop positive learning habits and resilience, encouraging them to see mistakes as part of the learning process rather than something to fear.

Sessions are paced to suit your child, ensuring they feel challenged without feeling overwhelmed. I work closely with families to provide consistent, reliable support and clear feedback on progress.
